Dear Dr. Baldwin:

Before arriving at middle college, high school was never a happy place to be. The environment
was overwhelming and each day drug on. I made the decision to come to middle collage because
I had heard from other people that is was a good alternative to other schooling. At first I was
scared to start something new, but once the year started I knew this was the right place for me.
Coming to middle collage opened doors for me that I would not have been able to have going to
a base school. In the fall I was able to start collage and begin my way towards my degree free of
charge. Not only did that help me finically but also internally. Being introduced to the collage
world helped me learn what it was like in the real world. Unlike regular high school, on the AB
Tech campus each student is treated like an adult and is expected to act like am adult. The entire
environment is different than a regular high school environment. Here at Middle College, people
are accepted, the teachers are amazing and help you out in any way they can, the work load isnt
outrageous and I gives a great alternative to going to regular high school. I would just like to
thank you for giving me the opportunity to finish off my school year in such a helpful
environment. Without middle college, my senior year would not have gone as well as it has.
