My name is Logan Oliva. I am a freshman at OCCI in their culinary arts program. You
taught my class at Millard Horizon High School in 2012-2014 in your culinary and
baking programs. I was a student that stood out with creative energy. I did well
throughout all of the hands on courses and the academic ones as well. I remember
helping you assist the class in learning culinary math.
You were the first person that came to mind when thinking of a superior. You were
the one that prepared me for starting my culinary career. The fundamentals learned
in each coarse were the basics I needed to preform my best.
Participating in all the competition events was enjoyable, because of how you
molded us. As a quick learner and natural leader traits, I felt like I proved myself for
each team. Being the leader of my team senior year was an honor that you gave to
me. I feel like I represented you, our school, our program, and myself the best I
could. Coming up with menu ideas and improving teamwork techniques was what I
pushed to do.
