To Whom It May Concern,

I have known Rebecca Perkins in a professional capacity during the six years we worked
together at Hendrick Medical Center on the orthopedic unit. I have also witnessed her
educational development as an instructor at Patty Hanks Shelton School of Nursing. She displays
professionalism, knowledge and compassion to every individual in which she encounters. Her
dedication to her patients and students demonstrates her desire to provide prudent and
compassionate care as well as evidence-based education to her students. Rebecca possesses
patience and compassion. She delivers competent and concise information to students during
lectures and debriefing. She is approachable and students and faculty respect and value her
opinion.
Rebecca has demonstrated an ability to handle stressful situations with grace and
professionalism. Her strong work ethic and clinical expertise allows Rebecca to handle high
workloads and critical patients with prudency and proficiency. She is well organized and is
capable of providing care to a variety of disease processes. Rebeccas capability as a nurse has
grown over the time that she has worked at Hendrick Medical Center and Patty Hanks Shelton
School of Nursing.
I would highly recommend Rebecca for any nursing or teaching position that she chooses to
pursue. I am confident that she would make an excellent addition to any team. I am available
for any further information that may be needed at (325) 665-3697.

Sincerely,
Pearl Wagley, RN, BSN
