The illnesses are not that bad
Religious reasons
They believe vaccinations cause autism
Vaccinations have side effects
The preservative in vaccinations are dangerous
Its a conspiracy of the government

CAUSES OF NOT VACCINATING A CHILD

Children can suffer many diseases if they are not vaccinated
Some severe diseases can have an outbreak and this can
lead a child even to death if they are not vaccinate

The child will be immune to get sick faster

SIDE EFFECT OF VACCINATION

Some people believe that they get sick or become ill once they
are vaccinated and some children also feel this way but no
valuable evidence has been proven that vaccination causes this.

sometimes a child can have a allergic reaction to the vaccination

Pain, redness, tenderness or swelling at injection site
Fatigue
Headache
Itching at injection site
Nausea
Dizziness or fainting (most common in adolescents)

SYMPTOMS OF VACCINATIONS
Most local swelling, redness and pain at the injection site
begins within 24 hours of the shot. It usually lasts 2 to 3
days, but with DTaP can last 7 days.

Fever with most vaccines begins within 24 hours and lasts 1

to 2 days.

With live vaccines (MMR and chickenpox), fever and systemic

reactions usually begin between 1 and 4 weeks.

Severe allergic reactions are very rare, but can occur with
any vaccine

EFFECTIVENESS
most childhood vaccines produce immunity about 90 - 100%
of the time.

Vaccines are the most effective tool we have to prevent

infectious diseases

If people look back and measure the

amount of cases their were before the
vaccine was released, people will be
able to see that the vaccine was effective
and decreased the disease

COST
Many healthcare programs help the cost of vaccination
The average cost per vaccination can be between $12-$50
It all depends on the specific vaccination that is given
Some insurances cover all the vaccinations or half of the cost
