The issue I am considering for my social issues project is cigarette

prevention. The problem with this issue it causes air pollution and it
causes cancer, the reason I am picking this project is because it affects
millions of Americans. The cause of this problem is people being
addicted to cigarettes . The negative affects of not solving this issue
are that thousands of people are dying from smoking and secondhand
smoke. From my research, I have found that over 443,000 people die
from smoking each year, and over 53,000 people die from second hand
smoke each year. Also the CDC (Center Of Disease Control) said that it
is the single most preventable disease. At the moment, I have no
problems in this issue. My next step is to write a bill demonstrating my
deep and thoughtful knowledge on this issue.
