BRIGHTON COLLEGIATE 9 HIGH SCHOOL,
February 11, 2010
To Whom It May Concern:
This correspondence is a letter of introduction and recommendation on
behalf of Kristen Handyside. Kristen presently teaches visual art at Brighton
Collegiate High School, Brighton, Colorado. She is in her second year of
teaching. She started an art program from scratch, which is currently
flourishing under her leadership. I am Kristen’s immediate evaluator and
principal.
1am completing my twenty-first year as a high school administrator. I judge
Kristen to be in the top quartile of staff members performing similar duties.
She is consistently willing to assume additional duties---like special projects,
open houses, and committee work---and has proven to be a resourceful,
supportive colleague. Her various involvements have benefitted the entire
school community. Kristen enjoys mutually beneficial relationships with
parents, students, and co-workers. She responds positively to supervisory
suggestions and always puts kids first.
Kristen has considerable content area and interpersonal talents. She is timely
and accurate in reporting. She has an appropriate sense of humor and looks
for ways to enhance the organization’s culture. She is compassionate and
flexible, poised and purposeful, attentive to detail and positive. Kristen is the
kind of employee any organization covets.
Please feel free to contact me at any time. I can be reached by phone at
(work) 303-655-0773, (home) 970-377-9402, and/or (cell) 970-217-5481. I
look forward to assisting your organization in any way.
Respectfully,
\alA@L DA.
