Why I Should (or Shouldnt) Have to Take Writing and Rhetoric
I should have to take Writing and Rhetoric for several reasons. Firstly, the titles of all the
other requirement courses for business majors are severally lacking in alliteration. Writing and
Rhetoric provides the double R sound that I need to spice up the sounds of my course list.
Secondly, I have never actually taken a course on rhetoric, so I think it will be useful to work on
my persuasive writing since I cannot portray persuasive hand gestures and head nods in my
words. Finally, and more seriously, in business it is crucial to be both a solid writer and a
persuasive one if a potential business partner is to take you seriously.
