Introduction
The purpose of this presentation is to illustrate
the interconnectedness of the performance
improvement model (PI) and the instructional
design ADDIE model (ID). These two models are
closely tied together in the creation and
implementation of a performance improvement
plan execution.

Pershing (2006) provides a flowchart example of


the Performance improvement model. It was
used as a reference in the following slide.
