SCENE 1

THE NEWS REPORTER is doing an update on the breaking news headlines.

NEWS REPORTER
This is Anna Grey with your news update at the top of the hour. Reports
concerning a mysterious book have said to cause possession to whomever
reads or touches the book. This book was has its origin in Jerusalem and
has been said to be stolen on its way to Great Britain. We remind you, be
careful what you read.
INT. LIVING ROOM. NIGHT.

SCENE 2

ASH, DON, JOHNNY, SAM and BRENDA are in the empty house with a mysterious
book.
DON
Open the book then Ash.
ASH opens the book and finds an old and worn out note inside.
ASH
Look guys, theres a note in there.
JOHNNY
Go on, read it then.
ASH slowly opens the note and begins to read it.
ASH
You who reads this, shall not see daylight again.
BRENDA
Stop guys, this isnt funny, didnt you hear what the news reporter said?
DON
Just shut up, Ash read it.
ASH tries to open the book and gets a paper cut. The blood goes onto the
paper and the candle starts to flicker.
DON
(Angry tone) KEEP READING!
The lights go off and there is a black screen.
BRENDA
(Scared tone) Ash, are you okay?

We are positioned in the point of view of Ash. As Brenda is talking, there

is a canted angle as Ash cracks her neck.
INT. BEDROOM.

SCENE 3

ASH has become possessed and is talking to DON in hopes that he will help
her. She is scared and DON is confused.
ASH
(Scared) Help me! I dont know whats wrong.
(Threating) Youve got to help me!
DON
(Confused and scared) What do you want me to do?
ASH continues to stare at DON blankly and looks rather intimidating.
DON
Ok this is going too far, youre scaring me now.
ASH
(Whispers sternly) FAST!
INT. HOUSE.

SCENE 4

ASH is all alone in the living room. She is wondering around as she looks
for the others.
ASH
(Sing-song voice) Where are you? I know youre hiding, ready or not here I
come
DON, JOHNNY and GOOGLE are hiding in a corner.
DON
Shush guys! Shell know where we are
BRENDA is all alone in a corner. ASH is coming towards her but BRENDA
cannot see her.
ASH comes closer to her.
ASH
Boo!
BRENDA is left screaming and the screen goes black.
