andontheiPad.ThebooksandiPadhadgamesandactivitieswheretheycouldpracticetheir

coloredblocks,blueandgreen.Hewouldaddandsubtracttheblocks.Usingtheblockshelped
himseehowhecouldaddorsubtractbetter.

hadtwodifferentcoloredsetsofblocks.Theredcolorwasfortheones,andthebluecolorwas
forthetens.Headded/subtractedblocksbasedonwhatnumberitwas.Example,ifthenumber
was35,hehadthreeofthebluetenblocksticks,andfiveredblocks.

fourthgradegroupweworkedondifferentmathproblems.Theywerelearninghowtodivide.
Later,twofourthgradeboyscameinandweworkedonreadingcomprehension.Theyhadto
readastoryandanswerquestionsattheend.
