Lesson Closure:(Review lesson objectives with students)

Teacher runs an informal open class discussion, reinforces key points, and
allows time for any final questions.
Transition: (What needs to happen prior to the next lesson?)
Set informal homework for discussion in preparation for the following class.
Students are encouraged to speak further with parents and grandparents
about their memories/involvement of family members in WWI.
Assessment: (Were the lesson objectives met? How will these be judged?)
1. Teacher will have access to student work uploaded onto Edublog.
Observation will also provide anecdotal insight into how effectively students
can locate geographical dates and understand war chronology.
