Recruitment Baker Hughes:
I recently learned in your web site about the Graduated Field Engineer opportunity at Baker
Hughes Venezuela, and I would like to participate in the selection process. I am Petroleum
Engineer graduated in July 2012 at the Universidad Nacional Experimental de las Fuerzas Armadas,
in Venezuela. I am very interested in the position that you request, because I think that is it a good
opportunity to be part of a great company and demonstrate my capabilities in the oilfield, helping
to Baker Hughes to reach its goals.
My profile as Petroleum Engineer is focused basically to reservoir engineering activities like
integrated reservoir studies, Dynamic reservoir simulation and steam injection to enhance heavy
oil recovery, however I am trained to work in activities related to drilling, completions, well
services and project planning.
My experience also includes working as a maintenance mechanic trainee at PDVSA Cardn
Refinery around of 12 months, where I gained knowledge about oil industry in general, repair and
drive of mechanical and electrical equipment like oil pumps, steam turbines and electric motors;
and HSE procedures too, thanks to security meetings and H2S Risks courses that I assisted;
building in me a security culture in every work that I do.
I believe my combination of Petroleum Engineering Knowledge and maintenance mechanic
experience is an excellent match for the Field Engineer trainee position you request. You can see
my resume to know additional information about my profile. Thank you very much for your
consideration. I look forward to receiving your reply.
Sincerely:
Roberto R. Quintero, Petroleum Engineer.
