Technology has made remarkable enhancements to video games, and the visual

quality and the sheer power under the hoods of the console heavyweights is nothing
to laugh about. In video games, these are the heavy hitters, the next-gen
consoles competing to get the place in a gamers room. The Xbox 360 and the
Playstation 3 are both striving to become the King of the consoles, and this fight for
supremacy will easily be the biggest clash of them all.
The biggest eye catcher when looking for a video game system is the price point.
No parent or gamer wants to have to give an arm or a leg to be able to purchase
one of these, so pricing is key. The Xbox 360 was released in November of 2006
with two different price ranges. For $399, the Pro version came with all the bells
and whistles needed for jumping in to play. It included the Xbox 360 with 20GB
HDD, wireless controller, wired headset for chatting with fellow gamers, power
supply, Ethernet connectivity cable, and the HD/Standard definition AV cables. For
$299, the Core version came with very little, but was for the gamer with the limited
budget who wanted to upgrade when they felt they were ready. The Core included
an Xbox 360, a wired controller, power supply, and standard definition AV cables.
Not much was offered in this package, and has been constantly complained as why
Microsoft even released it with out Hard drive.
