Philosophy of Education- DRAFT

I believe that education is crucial in todays society. Starting at a
young age, education paves the way for growing students to see their
future. It is engraved in students heads that in order to have a bright
future education has to be part of their lives. No matter what
background a child comes from, children deserve an education that will
make a positive impact in their future.
As a teacher, it is my responsibility to provide children with the
education they deserve. My primary role as a teacher is to teach and
prepare my students for their future. I believe that every student, no
matter their background, deserves to have the same opportunities of
future success as any other student. To ensure student success, I will
provide them with my unique insight, which will encompass my rules
and expectations along with learning about what the students want to
learn from me.
Although the teacher is the largest contributor to a childes
educational success there are other contributing factors to their
achievements. The school needs to provide a strong foundation to the
teachers with additional instruction to improve the success of children.
Teachers are counting on the parents of the students to support their
children outside the classroom with homework help and positive
reinforcements. The community the children live in needs to support
the school by fundraising and providing a safe place for children to

learn in. If the teacher, the school, the parents, and the community all
do there part in supporting the students, future success will come.
