Modifier Keys
Holding down the Option (alt) key while operating a control gives more (finer) resolution.
Holding down the Control (CTRL) key when clicking a control resets it to the default value.
Holding down the Option (alt) key when clicking an empty snapshot slot stores a snapshot.
Holding down the Control (CTRL) key when clicking an occupied snapshot slot trashes a
snapshot

Latency
Digital Performer 4.5 and higher has the ability to compensate the latency introduced by
plug-ins. Altiverb makes full use of that. As Altiverb s latency changes according to the
latency setting, you have to allow Digital Performer 4.5 to adjust to any new latency that
Altiverb reports. In the efficient hi latency mode the actual latency is determined by a
number of factors, amongst which the length and channel count of the impulse respons
choses. When you switch from one IR to another, you have to stop Digital Performers
transport if it is running and play again. Digital Performer uses the stopped state to realign
any latency compensation to new values.

Buffer Size
The higher the hardware buffer size, the less strain Altiverb puts on the processor. Try it out
with a few different settings. We recommend using 512 or 1024 samples for best Altiverb
performance. Note also that the options for exactly what sizes can be chosen depends on the
audio hardware you use.
