Creating Economic and Environmental Quality in Blue River

A Survey of Community Members

The Community of Blue River is a small, unincorporated
municipality located 40 miles east of Eugene. In its current
condition, Blue River relies solely on septic systems as a
means of waste management. With the installation of a
sewage treatment facility, Blue River would gain the ability
for economic development in the downtown area and added
tourism opportunities, as well as increased environmental
quality. This survey is part of an effort by Lane Community
College to learn more about how the members of Blue River
Community feel about the potential switch from septic
systems to community sewage treatment and to learn more
about what kind of financial commitment is reasonable.

Thank you in advance. Your help is greatly appreciated!
