Past Service Learning Experiences

Im thankful that over the years, in different places, I have been able to be a part of
many different bodies of worship and take part in all they had to offer, as well as
contribute with the gifts and talents God has given me. Ive had the privilege of helping
to lead youth groups at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Saskatoon and again at the
Martensville Alliance Church in Martensville. That church was our home for several
years, so I was also able to lead Bible Studies, teach Sunday School, be part of the
worship team, and participate in various committees. Moving to Asia brought a change
in the way we participated in church, but Ive also had the privilege of leading Bible
Studies at our church in Taiwan, as well as mentor some of the young women who were
new Christians. It has been a rich and full experience in being able to participate in
churches in different countries and cultures.
