Format for describing your motivation if you wish to apply for an NFP

fellowship.
If you wish to be considered for nomination of NFP fellowship, you are requested
to answer 3 questions in your motivation. The answer to each question should be
between 50-1000 characters.
Please answer the questions below:
1) What is the issue or problem you want to address in your country? (501000 characters)
2) How will this course enable you to address this issue? (50-1000 characters)
3) How will you address this issue with your position within your organisation?
(50-1000 characters)
When you answer these 3 questions take into account that the answers will be
evaluated by UNESCO-IHE and by the embassy for a possible nomination/award
of a scholarship! It is therefore very important that you pay utmost attention to
the answering of these questions. Herewith we inform you how the questions will
be evaluated, so that you can pay attention to this in your answer.
1) To what extent is the description of the problem outlined specific and
relevant?
What: What do I wish to accomplish?
Why: Specific reasons, purpose or benefits of accomplishing the goal.
Who: Who is involved?
Where: Identify a location.
Which: Identify requirements and constraints
2) To what extent is the description of how the chosen programme can
contribute to solving the problem outlined specific, achievable and
relevant? Look at:
Measurability
Realistic timeframe of implementation
Relevance
Achievability
3) To what extent is the motivation in accordance with mission, activities and
ambitions of the employer?
4) To what extent does the candidate have a clear idea about the period after
the study?

If you belong to an NFP eligible country, please send us your motivation by email, in which you answer these 3 questions and in which you pay attention to
these questions.
Take into account:

1) The reply to each question does not exceed 1000 characters


2) How the answers to the questions will be evaluated.
