The last week of October and the first of November of this year, was celebrated in

Santa Ana the 15 edition of the International Festival of Baroque music. This event
is promoted each year by the Escuela Musical de Artes Integradas (EMAI) and
the parish church of Santa Ana. The EMAI, like is typically called; is a public
institution supported by the local government of Santa Ana and international
donations. It promotes art in its different modalities. People from all ages, from
toddlers to elders, can receive painting, drama, singing and music classes. Chelo,
piano, traverse flute, fagot, violin, guitar and percussion; are some of the
instruments that are learn by students.
People from the community can attend to the diverse number of activities organize
by the institution; including painting expositions and performances of the many
orchestras. The Baroque Festival is, one, or the most important of this activities,
including many national and international guest, and all around country ativities.
