My Philosophy of Education
Education is the short-cut to a better life. The extra time, expense, and commitment
required in obtaining an advance degree is in no way easy, but the sacrifices one makes to
achieve higher education will undoubtedly unlock many doors of opportunity and increase
ones ability to get ahead, like a short-cut to a better life. I believe education enriches
lives exponentially. There is nothing like the power of education.

As a Hispanic immigrant, I believe people shouldnt have to choose between learning a

foreign language and giving up their culture in order to pursue a degree.

I am a firm believer that the learning possibilities for children are infinite. I also believe that
children learn what they are taught (so long as the right curriculum and appropriate methods are
used and they receive emotional and academic support) regardless of language barriers.
