September 1, 2014 ‘To Whom It May Concern: Itis with great pleasure that | recommend Hannah Hamilton for admission to Kalamazoo College. | had the pleasure of being her English teacher during her ‘Sophomore and Junior years while she was a student at New Technology High in Pinckney High School. New Technology High is a project based, technology driven program where students work in groups to solve real world problems. Hannah has been a true standout and leader in this program as she proved to be an excellent leader, presenter and task master. Hannah works harder than most students and is truly a standout amongst her peers. Not only is she a standout student, she is also an exceptionally committed athlete Hannah is the Captain of both the Track and Cross Country Team and devotes much of her time to her teams and physical fitness. In addition to her commitments as a student- athlete, she is also very devoted to her school. She has served as the Class ‘Council President for her class for the last three years and was the Secretary as a Freshman. She is also very involved in Student Government where she is currently serving as the Vice President, but has also been the Secretary and Technology Advisor. Hannah is also a member of the National Honor Society. Despite all her commitments she stil has plenty of time for community service.
