Create a virtual 3D animated movie of Mr Vs classroom in 90 min.

These task has 3 main steps
Create the replica model on SketchUp.
Export it in a video format.
Use Maker to add effects, music &
text.
Follow these instructions:
1. Open a metric template on Google
SketchUp.
2. Save on the desktop: Your Name, 9__, exam 2014.
3. Create a rectangular floor plan for a classroom

4. Make 3 meter high outer walls of 0.3 thickness. (Offset tool)

5. Create an arched (0.27 radius) door shape of 2 x 2 with a frame
using the offset tool. (figure 2)
6. Place 4 guide lines 1m from ground level on 3 walls.
7. Make 8 window shapes of 1.5 x 1 on the guide lines. Save.
8. Open the following folder: W:\Work\Technology\Gr. 9\Exam
2014.
9. Copy & paste the door & the windows and place them.
10. Add the following seamless textures:
A pale yellow paint on the inside of the walls.
A retro blue carpet from the internet.
11. Create a simple pupil desk, make it a component,
name it Redhill desk and copy it 25 times at 1.5 m
apart in a simple layout of 5 x 5 rows. (figure 4)
12. Copy & paste the pupils chair. Copy it 25 times

13. Copy & paste the desk and the chair of the teacher.
14. Copy & paste all the other components from the
folder to your model.
15. Add the picture of the folder on any wall.
16. Using the follow me tool, create an object similar to
figure 5, place it on the teachers desk.

17. Group everything together, purge, delete guide

lines, hide axes.
18. Create a few scenes with the Eye & Walk tools to show
the classroom.
19. Export your animation on the desktop at 480p quality
with a frame rate of 20. (figure 6)
20. Open your video with Window Media Maker, add a few effects, text & the
2 music pieces attached.
