A1: Effect of ground water table.


A2: Position of ground water table lays a significant impact on bearing capacity .In
clayey soil if the water table is beneath the ground surface then soil gets saturated.
A3: If table width is less than or equal to depth, B below the level of footing, then a
part of soil saturated.
SCREEN 4:
A1: If there is enough water in the soil and potential shear zone to develop a ground
water table, then bearing capacity reduced due effective stress.
A2: When exploring the sub-surface conditions, the current location of ground water
is determined.
SCREEN 5:
A1: The width of failure surface is less than or equal to depth of footing B below the
footing base.
A2: If water table is near the depth, it will cause no effect on bearing capacity.
