Homemade Quiche Crust Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

1 cup of all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp of salt

1/4 cup of olive oil

1/4 cup of ice water

Directions:

Gently mix flour and salt together in a large bowl.

In a separate bowl, whisk the oil and water together to thicken.

Pour the liquid ingredients into the larger bowl and mix together with a fork.

Once thoroughly combined, press the dough evenly into the pie or quiche plate.

Bacon, Mushroom & Spinich Quiche Recipe

Ingredients

6 large eggs, beaten


1 cups heavy cream
Salt and pepper
2 cups chopped fresh baby spinach, packed
1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
cup of chopped, cooked baby bella mushrooms
1 cups finely shredded Swiss cheese
1 (9-inch) refrigerated pie crust or use homemade quiche crust from above

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.


Combine the eggs, cream, salt and pepper in a large bowl and beat with a hand mixer until combined and
slightly thickened. Set aside.
Cook the bacon until crispy and chop into small chunks or crumble.
Saut the mushrooms until slightly browned.
Layer the spinach, mushrooms and bacon on top of the crust.
Add the cheese and pour the egg mixture on top.
Mix the filling around a little bit just to spread out the cheese.
Place the quiche in the oven and bake for 35-45 minutes until the egg mixture is set and golden brown.
Cut into 8 wedges and serve hot.
