Misty

misty I hear someone call from behind me. I turn around and see
miles. hey I whisper. I was holding my binder in my hand and
my backpack on my back. I had my hoody on and my hood over
my head. how are you? he asks.
I shrug and walk down the hall. I walk into my class and sit down
in my seat in the back of the room where no one sits. I ignore the
stares and murmurs. I slump in my chair hiding under my hood.
Just as class is about to begin a guy I have never seen before walks
in. he walks back to the back of the room and sits in the desk next
to me. I slide away from him fiddling with my sleeve. I feel his
gaze on me. hi Im Justin what is your name? he asks. I just then
have a vision. I freeze in my seat I grip the desk hard. I can hear
Justin asking if Im ok. I see my friend in trouble and a girl getting
killed by a dude in black. When Im done I jump up and run out of

the classroom. I slam into the lockers and slump to the floor
breathing heavy. The teacher walks out of the classroom and looks
worried when she sees me on the floor. She walks over to me.
misty are you alright? she asks me. I shake my head. I now
notice all of the class is out in the hall watching me. I also see
Justin standing there looking worried. I look away. here lets get
you home she tells me. I nod and she helps me up. um actually I
drove here so ill just take off after I sigh out I whisper in her ear.
She nods and hands me my stuff. I walk down the hallway.
I drive home in my light blue slug bug and pull into the driveway. I
unlock the door and head to my room. When I get there I sit on my
bed and hold a pillow while I cry.

I wake up to my alarm clock. I climb out of bed and take a shower

and dress in a pair of jeans and a purple hoodie. I walk downstairs
and eat. I grab my bag and head to my car.

I walk in the school door and head to my locker. I then head to my

class and sit down in my seat. I ignore the stairs and stare at my
desk. Justin walks in and sits next to me. I stiffen. I finally get
through class and go into the hallway. I am then slammed into the
locker by a guy. My eyes widen. Hey there I wonder what you
look like under that hood he says as he pulls the hood off my head
and whistles dam your pretty. Its sad though that you hide under
there he tells me. I really am not comfortable. Hey why dont
you take the hood off and maybe come over later and take off
everything else he tells me. I start breathing heavy. Hey let her
go I hear a voice say. The guy pinning me to the locker groans
Or what? he asks. Or you are going to have to deal with me.
And trust me you dont want to get on my bad side the guy says. I
look around and see Justin standing there. When the guy sees who
it is he back off and takes off down the hall. I look at Justin and am
sucked into a vision. Before I fall to the ground Justin grabs me
and he is sucked in to. Im seeing a fire and miles saving someone.
Then I see miles burning to death and am sucked out of my vision.
I gasp. Im so sorry I tell him and take off down the hall. He
follows me. I collapse on the hallway floor. He kneels down next
to me what just happened? I just saw someone burning to death
he exclaims. Trust me you dont want to know. Just be lucky you
dont go thru this everyday like I do I tell him. He looks confused
as I start to cry. I know he doesnt know what to do. So he just tells
me its ok. He then does something surprising he grabs me and
holds me and rocks me. I barely even know this guy and yet I let
him hold me.

When I get home I dress in my pajamas and climb in bed. I am so

depressed. I curl up and cling to my pillow. I then hear a knock on
the front door. I get out of bed and walk downstairs to the front
door. I open it and find a man on the front steps. misty perks I am
don and I just want to say there is someone who wants to adopt
you he tells me. im to stunned to speak. they live in California so
pack up and we leave in two hours he tells me and walks away. I
shut my door and walk back upstairs. I start packing.

So Im on a plane to California. Great. Wonder what its like. who

this family is and what their like? when the plane lands I find a cab
waiting. I get in.

I dont wear a hoodie this time. The cab drives up to a million

dollar house. I gasp. I get out of the cab and I see a woman run out.
She runs up to me and hugs me. Oh youre so beautiful she tells
me. Come on meet the rest of the family she tells me and walks
to the house I follow. She opens the door and I walk in. she leads
me to the couch, Josh, Drake, Luke come meet misty she calls. I
see three guys run down the stairs and stop when they see me.
Isnt she gorgeous? she exclaims. They wont stop staring at me.
I smile at them. They walk over to me and sit down really close to
me. She walks over to one of them that has brown hair this is
josh she says smiling. Then she goes by a boy with blond hair
this is Luke she tells me. And this is drake she tells me
pointing to the boy with black hair. John my husband is at the
store so he will be back soon so your room is on the left so you can
come down when youre ready she tells me. thank you I tell her
and walk up my new room.

When I am done looking around I take my stuff out and put it up. I
then walk out and downstairs. how did you like your room?
Lucy asks. its nice thank you I tell her. so this is john she tells
me pointing to a tall big man. He smiles at me. I smile back. so go
ahead and sit in the living room and dinner will be ready in 20
minutes she tells me. I nod and walk into the living room. I see
the three boys playing video games. They smile when I come in.
hey misty Luke says. hi Luke I tell him and sit down. so how
old are you? Luke asks me. 16 almost 17 I tell him. Cool he
tells me. I smile. Dinner I hear and I get up.

After dinner lucy tells me she would like to take me cloth shopping
tomorrow. I just nod and head up to my room.

After we got me some cloths I start putting them in my closet. I

then hear a knock on my door. coming I holler as I walk over to
the door. I open the door and find Josh standing there. hello josh
can I help you? I ask. um josh stutters then takes off down the
hall. I laugh as I shut my door. I start school tomorrow. So when it
was time for bed I climb into my king sized bed and fell asleep.

I woke up and took a shower. I then got dressed and did my

makeup. Letting my curly hair fall down my back in perfect blond
and brown curls I grab my backpack and slipping on my shoes and
head downstairs. I sat down and ate some eggs. Good morning
misty Lucy tells me. Morning I tell her. She smiles at me. you
look beautiful she tells me. I smile at her. so where is
everybody? I ask. Well the boys went to school early and john is
at work so Ill be taking you to school she tells me. I nod.

She drops me off at the front of the building and I look around. I
see a girl with black hair run up to me. Hi Im June and you are?
she asks. misty I tell her. you must be new so if you want you

can sit with us at lunch she tells me. thank you I tell her. she
smiles and shows me around. My first class is history so I walk in
and sit in the back. I take out my history book and my notebook.

Jason

After class I head to my last class until lunch. After that class I go
to the lunchroom and spot june sitting at a table with 2 girls and 3
guys. I walk over to them until I hear my name called. hey misty
come over here for a minute I hear luke call. I turn around and
walk over to them. They are sitting at a table with 5 other guys.
Great. I smile at luke. hey so this is brad, mason, jonathan, chad,
and Jason he tells me. hi I tell them. They look up. But Jason
doesnt. Jason is the quarter back for the football team and he has
finals so hes studying luke tells me. I peer over at what hes
studying. is that about the mayans? I ask. He looks up and when
he sees me he freezes. He then nods you know anything about it?
he asks. yea I studied it last year got an A on the test I tell him.
hey hes coming over to our house tonight so maybe you can
come down from your room and help him josh tells me. sure I
tell him. alright see you at home luke tells me. I nod and walk
over to my table.
Luke
she lives with you? brad asks. yea she moved in 3 days ago I
tell them. cool I guess Ill see her tonight chad says. I just nod
and look at Jason still looking at misty from across the room. I
smile and go back to my lunch.

Misty
I look over and see Jason looking at me. I smile and he looks away.
I laugh.

When I get home I go upstairs and dress in a pair of purple yoga

pants and a yoga top and slipped on some socks. Putting my hair in
a ponytail I headed downstairs. hey misty josh tells me. hey I
tell him. so Jason will be here in a minute so you can hang out
here until then he tells me. ok thanks I tell him and sit down
next to him. we talk about what I know about the myanas and he
nods. Just then Jason comes in with luke. Luke smiles at me and
says hey. Jason just stares. hey dude your going to ace this final
because she just told me a textbook perfect everything about
myanas josh tells Jason. He nods. so you want to get started? I
ask. He nods and walks over to me. I let him take notes on what I
have to say and I test him on what he has learned. good so if you
want I can help you some more during lunch I suggest. yea that
would be nice he tells me. I smile. I walk him to the door and say
goodbye and he walks to his car. wow you sure do know a lot I
hear a voice behind me. I turn and smile at luke and shrug. I hope
it helps him I tell him. hey you gave me a lesson on it and I

didnt even need one he tells me. I shut the door and head to my
room. I crawl into bed and turn out the lights.

I wake up. After taking a shower I dress and do my makeup and

do my hair. I slip on my shoes grab my bag and head downstairs.
After eating Lucy takes me to school.
Walking in I go to my locker. I head to my first class. After that I
head to my 3 other classes. Then I head to lunch. I see Jason over
at the table and I walk over to him and sit down. so lets get
started I tell him. he nods and I help him. I answer his questions

and help him memorize certain facts. When the bell rings I get up
and head to the door hey misty I hear him call. I turn around and
look at him. thanks and Im coming over for dinner tonight so ill
see you then he tells me. ok well your welcome and have a good
rest of the day I tell him and smile as I walk out the door.

When I get home I dress in a strap dress and I put my hair in a

ponytail on the way downstairs. I smile when I see Jason sitting on
the couch playing call of duty black ops 2 with Luke and josh, and
drake. I never really see drake that much so I was surprised to see
him playing to. I shrug and go see if Lucy needs any help with
dinner. Sure can you cut up the lettuce? she asks. I nod and grab
a knife and start cutting. Then I cut up some tomatoes. When Im
done making the salad I set the table. Then I put the silverware out
and help put the food on the table. Then the guys came in talking
they all stopped when they see me. I smile as I put the salad on the
table. Just then lucy comes in thank you misty she tells me.
welcome I tell her. she smiles and we sit down.

After dinner I sit down and watch the guys play video games.
Jason is quite good. When the game is done Jason sits by me. so
do you like it here? he asks. yea its nice to finally have a family
again I tell him. what happened to your family? he asks me. I
look to the floor. you dont have to tell me he adds. oh ill be
fine in a minute I tell him and take a deep breath. my mother was
killed my father killed and my sister shot. I wasnt hurt because I
hid in the closet and saw the whole thing I told him. he instantly
looked sad. wait I was hurt. I died but the doctors brought me
back. I used to hide under hoodies because I was sure the person
who did this would find out I survived so I hid from the world and
everybody I tell him. no one should have to go thru that he tells
me. how old were you if I may ask? he asks me. I was 14 I tell
him. he looks at me shocked. if you would like you can sit with us
at lunch tomorrow he suggests. I smile yea that would be nice I
tell him. he smiles at me.

I dressed and put my hair in a ponytail. Doing my makeup I put on

my shoes and grabbed my backpack.

When I got to school I run into Jason. Hey Jason says. Hi I

reply. Here he says and hands me a purple hibiscus flower. I take
it and smile. Thank you I tell him. He smiles and walks away. I
smile and walk into class. This time June sits by me. Spill it she
tells me. What? I ask. You got a flower from the hottest guy at
school so spill it whats going on? she tells me. Nothing.
Nothings going on I tell her. Uh girl Jason has the sweets for
you and you call that nothing? she asks. I shrug. She laughs do
you even know the meaning of the hibiscus flower? she asks.
No I tell her. It means delicate beauty she tells me matter of
fact. It could have just been a coincident he picked a hibiscus I
tell her. Um I dont think so; you are beautiful and when I saw
him give it to you he looked like he was admiring your beauty she
tells me. I shrug and blush. Did you also know he hasnt found
the right girl so the way he is treating you seems like a good sign
to me she tells me. Last night he invited me to sit with him at
lunch today I tell her. Woe! Wait last night? she asks. Yea he
came over for dinner with Luke I tell her. Her mouth hangs open
Is that the only time he has been over since you moved? she
asks. No 2 days ago he came over after school so I could help him
study for his finals I tell her. She literally almost faints. Hey its
not a big deal I tell her. It is. Do you know how many girls have
tried to get good with him? Every. Single. One. And you didnt
even try she exclaims. Hey can you calm down your scaring me
you look like youre going to pass out on me I tell her. She sighs
just as the bell rings.
I get thru the rest of my classes and Im off to lunch. I spot
Jason sitting with his friends and he looks up and smiles. He waves

me over and I walk over there. Jason grabs a chair and sits me
down. I drop my bag on the floor as he sits next to me. Then he
hands me a blue hibiscus. I smile at him and he smiles back. So
did you know that there is a dance coming up in a week and I was
wondering if you would like to go with me? he asks. I smile yea
I would like that I tell him. Oh and guess what he says.
What? I ask. You helped me pass my exam he tells me. You
passed. Oh thats great I tell him. So since I passed I can play
football. And our first game is Sunday so how about I come pick
you up and you can watch me he suggests. I smile yea I could do
that. That would be great I tell him. He smiles at me. So Ill pick
you up around 4:30 he tells me. I nod. So we eat lunch and after
lunch I walk to my locker. When I shut it Im thrust into my locker
by a big guy. Not again. Hi there he says. Hi I need to get to
class so can you please move? I ask. When he doesnt move I try
to push him out of the way but he pushes me back into the locker.
Hey let her go a voice says. It turns out to be Jason. Or what?
the guy asks shoving me into the locker harder. Jason jumps and
punches the guy. I cover my mouth with my hand. Hey stop I tell
the guy who pushed me up against the wall. He turns around and
slaps me in the face leaving a red handprint on my right cheek. The
guy runs down the hall. Jason walks up to me. Here let me see he
tells me. I move my hand and he looks at my cheek. He looks
unhappy when he sees my cheek. Are you ok? he asks. I think
so I tell him. Here let me log you out and Ill take you home he
tells me. I nod. He grabs my bag and leads me to his car.
He drives me home. When he walks me to the front door Lucy
comes running up to me What happened to you? she asks
looking at my face. A guy was harassing her and he slapped her
Jason tells her. Lucy looks shocked. She then grabs me and leads

me to the couch. I sit down and she touches my face. I squeeze my

eyes shit when she touches above my eye. It comes away with
blood. Oh sweet heart you have a cut above your eye she tells
me. I reach up and touch it. My finger comes away with blood.
Here Jason will you watch her while I get some bandages? Lucy
asks. Yea he tells her. Thanks she says and walks into the other
room. Jason scoots over to me. He grabs my hand and looks at my
forehead. That was really brave of you to step in I tell him. Hey
he shouldnt have been harassing you so its the least I could do
he tells me. I smile. Lucy walks back in and waves some band aids.
She walks over to me and cleans off my cut. She puts some
Neosporin on and puts 3 small band aids on. Youre going to have
a bruise on your cheek but other than that youre good to go she
tells me. Thanks I tell her. I then turn to Jason thanks for
stepping in I tell him. He smiles and nods. He turns to Lucy hey
do you mind if I stay for a while? he asks. Yea go ahead Im sure
misty would like the company she tells him. He smiles thank
you he tells her.
She gets up and walks out of the room. Jason leans over to me and
cups my head. He rubs his thumb across my other cheek. You
going to be ok? he asks me. I nod. He then does something that
makes me freeze. He leans over and kisses me lightly on the lips.
My cheeks are now on fire. He pulls away and he sees my fire
Rosie cheeks. He smiles. We spend the day together. When Luke
and the guys come home I hear lucy telling them what happened. I
then see them walk into the living room and I turn to look at him.
Luke pales when he sees my face. Luke walks over to me. hey are
you ok? he asks. I nod. Luke turns to Jason and asks what
happened. I excuse myself to go change.

After I change my cloths I head downstairs and find Jason sitting

on the couch with the guys. He looks up and smiles when he sees
me. I walk over to him and sit down next to him. So since
tomorrow is Saturday I was wondering if you would like to go out
on a date with me? josh asks. I smile Yea I tell him. So Ill
pick you up around 10:00 he tells me. I nod and he gets up and
kisses my head and walks out the door. When hes gone Luke
looks at me. Since when did you get all sweet with Jason? Luke
asks me. Since he punched the guy who slapped me I told him.
Luke just laughs and walks away. I get ready for bed and went to
sleep.

I woke up and took a quick shower. I dressed in a dark blue dress

and black sandals. Lucy did my hair and my makeup. I heard the
door bell and Luke yelling for me from downstairs. Lucy finished
up my hair and walked me downstairs. Jason saw me and stared at
me in amazement. I smiled. He then pulled out a bouquet of light
blue and purple hibiscus flowers. I took them and smiled. I took his
hand and he led me out to his car. Once I was in I smelled the
hibiscuses. So where are we going? I ask. Its a surprise he
tells me. And also you look beautiful he tells me. I blush. Your
cut and bruises healed pretty fast he tells me. Yea I guess I heal
fast I tell him. He laughs and kisses my cheek.
We get into town and stop at a caf called little rock garden caf.
its really pretty I tell him. he takes my hand as he walks me into
the caf. After we are done eating we talk a lot and he takes me to
see a movie. After that he takes me home. So Ill see you
tomorrow I tell him. He leans in and kisses me not soon enough
he tells me. Ok then why dont you come over tomorrow morning
and we can go swimming and spend the day together until your
game I suggest. Ok he tells me. We kiss again and he leaves. I
walk inside and tell Lucy about tomorrow. She says ok and I head
upstairs to my room.

I wake up around 7:30 and dress in a dark pink bikini and a beach
skirt. I head downstairs and grab a glass of orange juice and sat
down at the table. I hear the guys come in with their swimming
trunks on. Jason was laughing with Luke until he sees me. I smiled
and get up. he walked over to me. ready? he asked. I nod and we
walk out to the pool. He jumps in and turns around here jump and
Ill catch you he tells me. I drop the skirt and jump in. he catches
me. I laugh. you look good in that color he tells me and kisses
me but then he is pulled away from me. I fall backward but am
caught by josh. He holds me. hey Jason come save your girl he
calls as he holds me. Jason smiles at me and breaks out of Lukes
hold. He swims towards me. I scream when josh dives under water
with me. I feel feet grab my. I am then dragged into different arms.
I look at my new holder and see Jason smiling at me as he brings
me to the surface. I smile as he says got you.

I go upstairs and dress. After drying my hair and curling it I do my

makeup and slip on my shoes. I head downstairs and walk out with
him. He drives to the football game. After he pays for my ticket I
take my seat and watch him do warm ups. He looks at me and I
smile. He smiles back. When the game begins I watch.

They win the game. I stand up and clap. Jason sees me and jumps
the guardrail. I run to him and he swoops me off my feet. good
job I tell him. he kisses me. I hear his team cheering. I smile as I
put my head on his. We walk to the car and he takes me home.
When we stop at my door he kisses me. dont forget Friday is the
dance Ill pick you up around 6:30 he tells me. I nod and kiss him.
when we break apart I go into my house. I walk up the stairs. I get
dressed for bed.

I am downstairs in a hurry. After eating my breakfast Jason is

outside waiting for me. I say goodbye and head outside. He smiles

and I get into the car. He leans in and kisses me while he starts the
car. He puts a purple hibiscus flower in my hair. When we get to
school he helps me out of the car and he walks me to class.
Everyone in the hallway stares at me and Jason. He drops me off
and I walk into the class. June drops her bag on the floor and plops
down next to me. so tell me everything she tells me. I then
launch into the story of him asking me to the dance (she almost
passes out) and to his first football game and me being harassed in
the hallway. Jason punching the guy the guy slapping me him
taking me out to lunch and a movie on Saturday him coming over
on Sunday morning and us going swimming and the rescue game
we played and him jumping over the guardrail and sweeping me
off my feet and kissing me. I swear her eyes were almost popping
out of her head. is it official? she asks. I dont know I tell her.
I think it is she squeals. When lunch comes around I see Jason
and he takes me out to the courtyard. We sit on a rock together and
eat lunch. After lunch he walks me to class and we kiss goodbye.

When I get home I get dressed in my pajamas and go downstairs.

hey misty so what do you want to do for birthday? lucy asks. I
shrug. After dinner I head upstairs and do homework. When its
time for bed I put my stuff in my backpack and turn out the lights.
Around 10:23pm I hear tapping on my balcony door. I sit up
in my bed and walk over to my balcony door and open the curtains.
I see Jason standing on the other side. misty can I come in? he
asks. I unlock the door and open it. what are you doing here? I
ask. He smiles I wanted to see you he tells me. I blush. He grabs
me and kisses me. then looks at me nice pajamas he tells me.
and nice room he says and looks around. you look sleep
deprived he tells me. cant sleep I tell him. here I can hold you
while you sleep he tells me. um I start to say. I wont try
anything he adds. ok I tell him and walk over to my bed. He
gets in and I slid in beside him. he pulls me up against him and I
snuggle against him. I fall asleep instantly.

When I wake up Jason is gone. But I get dressed fast and do my

hair and makeup. Grabbing my backpack I head downstairs. After I
eat I hear a horn honk from outside. I walk outside and see Jason
standing there with sunglasses on. I smile as he kisses me.
When we get to school we walk inside. After school I was
reminded about my birthday being tomorrow.

When I get into Jasons car I find him holding a bouquet of

hibiscuses. what are these for? I ask. your birthday he tells me.
I blush. oh and dont forget dance tonight he reminds me. I nod
as he kisses me.

After school I am surprised by Lucy handing me a present. I take it

and open it. I find a phone in it. thank you I tell her and hug her.
lets get you dressed for the dance she tells me walking me
upstairs. When Im dressed she does my hair and makeup. When
she hands me my shoes I slip them on. I hear a knock on the front
door and josh calling for me. have fun and you look gorgeous
she tells me. I hug her thank you I whisper in her ear. I then head
downstairs. Everyone gasps when I walk down the stairs. I see
Jason in a black tuxedo holding a bouquet of purple hibiscuses in
his hand. I walk over to him. you look amazing he tells me as he
kisses me. he then leads me to the car. When we arrive to the party
we sit down on a bench under a tree. We spend a lot of the night
together.
ill be right back he tells me and walks off. I hear something
behind me and see a cloth come over my mouth before I pass out.

Jason

so misty I start but I then dont see misty. But what I do see is
a cloth and her flowers on the floor. Then I remember her saying
something about people being after her. I start looking around.

Misty
I come to concouseness only to be tied up. I then see a guy walk
towards me. he hits me with the back of his hand. you should
have staid dead he yells at me and hits me again. He then gets out
a knife and holds it to my neck. I start crying. He then takes the
knife and cuts my arms in 3 places. I scream as he hits me again.
He leaves.

Jason
I burst thru the door its misty shes missing I yell. Everyone runs
to me. I explain to them what happened and we head to the police.

Misty
He comes back the next day. He hits me more and cuts me more. I
can barely stay concouse. My leg seems to be brocken and my arm
too. Im bleeding a lot and bruised. On the third day he comes back
and hits me more. But I hear pounding on the door. fbi we are
coming in I hear someone yell. I then see bright lights flash in my

eyes and gunshots. I start crying. I then see a girl officer come up
to me. misty your safe now I ve got you she tells me. I see a guy
cut me lose and I fall into the girl officers arms and cry. She holds
me and tells me its ok. she has a brocken arm and leg and
multiple sever cuts on the arms and legs. Bruises indicate this man
hitting her but no sexual assalt I hear a man say. we are going to
get you out of here she tells me. then the man who cut me lose
picks me up. I scream in pain. we need to get her to a hospital
now or she might not make it I hear the guy say. I start fading out.
misty can you try to stay concouse? he asks me. I dont answer
because I cant move. we need to go now he yells as he jumps
into a car. Im set on some kind of bed. And then I pass out.

Jason
Im driving to the hospital with her family. I run inside. Lucy runs
up to a doctor where is she? she asks. is she ok? please tell me
she crys. mam please sit down the doctor tells her. she sits down
I sit down next to her. misty is in critical condition. She has a
brocken leg and arm. Sevear cuts on her legs and arms and a
concousion. She was beat and drugged we dont know what to do
he tells her. will she make it? I ask. she has lost a lot of blood
from the cuts and we can not be sure at this moment he tells me.
lucy burries her head in johns chest. can we see her? lucy asks.
yes this way the doctor says. We walk into a room. I see misty
on a bed all bruiesd up with bandages on her arms and legs and one
around her head. I hear lucy cry out when she sees her. I pale.
where is she? I hear someone say outside the door. I turn around
and see a big man in a military suit at the door. sir you cant go in
there the nurse tells him. I want to see my sister he tells her and

walks into the room. oh not you to misty he whispers as he walks

over to her. who are you? john asks. the guy looks at him im
millitary officer jack perks and I came as soon as I heard. I am the
only family she has left he tells her. I then see her move. guys
shut up she just moved I tell everyone. We all turn to her.

Misty
My eyes flutter open and I look into a dim lit room. misty I hear
a awfully fimiliar voice say. I look and see jack standing there in
his military officer uniform. jack I whisper in a weak voice. oh
thank god he exclaims. am I dead? I ask. no your not dead
mist he tells me. they found me I tell him. he pales you
mean? he asks. I nod. oh god no he whispers. you mean the
guys jason starts but is cut off by a glare from my brother. jack
be nice hes the only one I told I tell him. he nods. I thought you
were over seas I tell him. he walks over to me and holds my hand
I came as soon as I heard what happened he tells me. I then look
at the door and see about 4 fbi agents walk in. oh my god its the
girl from case 179 a girl says. miss perks can you answer a few
questions? one officer asks. I nod. what do you remember? he
asks me. I remember going to prom with jason. He went to get me
a drink and a hand came over my mouth holding some kind of wet
cloth. Then I remember waking up tied to something and a big man
telling mr I should have staied dead and hitting me and cutting me
I start to cry. Jack squeezes my hand. and comeing in a lot and
hitting and cutting me more and then the door burst open and I saw
white lights and heard gun shots and then a woman telling me I
was safe I said and started to cry really hard. did you recognize
the person who took you? the agent asked. yes I remember him

from the night my parents and sister was killed. But there were 3
other people I didnt recognize I tell him. wait I do recognize one
he was I start. Jason walks over to me. was he the one I
punched and who slapped you? he asked. I nod and burst into
tears. Jason held my right hand and jack held my left. thank you
miss perks the polie officer tells me. and they walk out. then the
doctor comes in and orders everybody out. jason and jack tell me
they will be right back.

Jason
so you are? jack asks me. jason night her boyfriend I tell him
and shake his hand. He then starts asking me a bunch of questions.
am I going to have a problem with you two? misty asks from the
other room. no me and jack say at the same time. The doctor
comes out and walks over to lucy she is still in critcal condition
so we will keep her in here for 3 to 4 weeks he tells her. lucy
nods. We are told to leave so we tell her goodbye and that we will
be back tomorrow.

My family comes an visits me often. so how are you feeling?

jason asks me as he walks in. better I tell him. he kisses my
forhead. I then look over at the comotion at the door. I see jack
come in with 5 other soldiers. Jack is holding a boquet of roses. I
smile and shake my head. He smiles back. He sets the flowers
down and hugs me. I gasp. oh sorry broken right he tells me.
hello misty I hear a voice say. I look around jack and see danny
standing there. hello danny how are you? I ask. im doing
alright he tells me. I then see a flash of a dark satin dress burst
thru the door. It was june. misty she screams. oh god someone
do something she looks about ready to pass out I say. Jason walks
over to her june calm down she is going to be alright he tells her.
she then gives a angry stare at him you left her she screams and
walks to him. I groan jack do smoething I tell him. he nods and
walks over to her um june right? he asks. she turns around and
stares. and who are you? she asks. I look at jason while her
attention is on jack and nod him over to me. he nods and walks
over to me. im officer jack perks I am mistys brother he tells her.
she starts closeing in on my brother. I groan again oh god first
she want to kill you and now she wants to get good with my
brother I say. Jason laughs. Junes head whips around and stares at
jason. She starts getting angry. june stop ok I dont want fighting
at all I tell her. she frowns sorry misty she tells me. good god
I groan.

3 weeks later I was released. I still had a brocken leg and arm but
most of my cuts and bruises were healed. When I got home I
climbed into bed and rested. I had school tomorrow so I went to
bed early.

I woke up and took a shower. I headed downstairs and found jack

sitting at the table. I froze what are you doing here? I ask. I am
here for a while. are you going to school? he asks. I nod I was

just about to drive to school I just got my car back I tell him. he
nods and hugs me. I grab my key and head out the door. Throwing
my backpack into the passanger seat I head off to school.

When I get to school I turn off my car and get out. you have a
car? I hear a shrill girls voice ask. I look up and see june. yes I
do I tell her. awesome she exclaims. I smile as I grab my bag. I
put it on and head inside. When I get into class I head to my desk. I
find a letter taped to it. I rip the letter off and look at it. I have a
game tonight will you come. Its at 5:30 but I have to be there early.
Love Jason. I smile at the letter.

After the game I went home and got ready for bed. I dressed in
pajama shorts and a yoga bra. When I cover up I was sucked into a
vision. I saw a guy watching me then it ended. I opened my eyes
and started breathing heavy. After calming down I got up and made
sure my balcony door was locked and shut my curtains. I climbed
into bed and turned out the lights.
I woke up to tapping on my window. I sat up in bed and looked at
the clock. It was around 11:30. I got up and walked over to my
balcony door. I opened the curtain and saw Jason standing there. I
smiled. I opened the door and shook my head get in here its
freezing I tell him. he smiles and walks in. he looks me over nice
pajamas he tells me. I blush and shut my balcony door. I lock it
and close the curtains. He looks me over again let me guess cant
sleep again? he asks. I nod. He grabs me and holds me. I put my
arms around him and set my head against his chest. I shiver. He

walks me over to my bed and we lay there. He covers me up and I

lay my head on his chest.

When I woke up Jason was gone. I got up and took a shower. After
getting dressed I grabbed my backpack and put my shoes on and
headed downstairs. I stopped dead when I saw Jason and jack
sitting at the table. Jason was wearing the same thing as he was last
night. I step behind the wall. as long as it helps her sleep and
youre not doing anything then its fine with me jack tells him.
and you can bring some of your stuff over if you want Lucy
adds. Mistys usually out by now Lucy says. I take a deep
breath and walk out. hey there she is Lucy says. wait where is
everyone? I ask. there was a fire at the school last night so
schools canceled jack tells me. I nod.

I then head upstairs and change into something comfortable. I hear

a knock at my door. Walk over to it and open it. I see jack standing
there. I smile at him. I know he tells me. I start to say something
but he cuts me off but if he helps you sleep and feel safe then Im
ok with it but he starts but I cut him off this time jack Im still
a virgin I tell him. He nods and hugs me. I hug him back. When
he lets me go I stand there and the I begin to feel weak. I fall to the
ground and jack catches me. misty he whispers. your burning
up he tells me. Lucy he calls. Lucy comes running up the stairs.
Somethings wrong he tells her. ok um put her on her bed and I
will get some wet towels she tells him as she runs out of the room

and into the bathroom. She rushes out with a wet washcloth. She
lays it on my head. Jason comes running up the stairs and looks at
me whats wrong? he asks. we dont know Lucy tells him.
what can we do? Jason asks. let her rest and see what happens
jack tells him. Jason nods and walks over to me. he holds my hand
your going to be ok he tells me. I nod. Then I hear a knock on
the door. Lucy opens it and I see someone familiar. Justin. hey
Justin how are you? john ask. Justin looks at me I scream. I jump
up out of bed and hit the wall. oh god they cant know go away I
scream. misty calm down Justin tells me. No I wont. Go away
they cant know I scream at him. hey they dont have to know I
wont tell he tells me. I dont care now go away I scream. Then
for some reason I pass out.

Jason
what was that? I ask. Jack shrugs and looks at Justin do you
want to explain what just happened? he asks him. cant sworn to
secrecy he tells him. and I dont quite understand it myself he
adds. I walk over to the unconscious misty and look at her. shes
out I say. here lets get her on the bed jack tells me. I pick her up
and lay her on the bed.

Misty
I wake up in my bed. misty babe lets make up a voice says.
A voice I all too well recognize. max I whisper. hey babe I
made you so come home to me he says. what am I? I screamed.
Then I am sucked into a vision. It was of this family getting killed.

I then realized I was being touched. And someone was witnessing

it. I yanked myself out and looked into Jasons eyes. what just
happened? he asked. My eyes widened with fear. oh god I
whished this wouldnt happen I said and realized he was still
holding me. dont touch me I screamed and he flew back away
from me out the door. I burst into tears as I shut the door and
locked it. misty let me in he tells me thru the door. I ignore him.

Jason
I realize she wont let me in and that Justin might just help. I run
down the stairs and see Justin sitting on the couch. He looks up.
its misty I tell him he nods and run up the stairs. He gets to the
door. misty can you come out and talk to me? he ask. no she
screams. ill come in anyway he tells her. dude the doors
locked I tell him. he looks at the door. dam it shes mind blocked
the room he mutters. I cant unlock it he adds looking at my
confused expression. Then we hear a scream. get the hell out of
my mind I hear her scream. misty what is going on open the
door I tell her. if you hurt Jason I will rip your head off! Now get
out of my dam head she screams. im going to have to break the
door down Justin tells me. cover your ears. He looks at the door
and it flys inward. I see misty on the ground screaming holding
her head. I run to her dont touch her she might kill you Justin
tells me. I look at him. I then see her and she passes out. can I
touch her now? I ask. let me make sure he tells me. he walks
over to her and touches her arm. She doesnt move. yep shes out.
you can touch her he tells me.

How did she just toss me out of the room without touching me? I
ask Justin. its complicated he tells me. I nod and push some of
her hair out of her face. I lay her on the bed.

About an hour later she wakes up. she now has purple and gold
eyes. misty are you wearing contacts? I ask. no why? she ask.
Look at your eyes I tell her. she looks in the mirror and pales.
so him being in my head was real she whispers to herself. who
was in your head? I ask her. oh god hes coming for me she
whispers. whos coming for you? I ask. max I hear a voice
from behind me. I spin around and see Justin. I hear misty give a
strangled scream and I see her being held by a big man. did you
miss me? he asks. oh yea I missed you she growled and her
eyes turned electric purple. He gave a scream and fell to the floor.
He curled up in a protective ball. misty stop this isnt you Justin
tells her. oh I missed you zale. And tell max he can screw
himself she hisses. The guy screams. Justin turns to me you can
help her she cant use this on you. Youre the only chance shes got
to regain control Justin tells me. I nod and walk over to her. I take
her shoulders and turn her towards me. she looks at me misty its
ok you need to let go I tell her. something changes in her eyes and
they return back to the pale purple she woke up with. she then
bursts into tears. I pull her to me and she cries. When shes calmed
down I tell her to get ready for bed. I leave the room and follow
Justin down stairs.
ok tell me what just happened in there. Why did my girlfriend do
that? What is she? I ask. we dont know. shes the first of her
kind Justin tells me. but she cant lose control like that again she
can bring hell on earth if she dose he adds. we? I ask. PFSNB.

I work for them he tells me. What is PFSNB? I ask. protection

for super natural beings. She is the most important case ever he
tells me. I nod.

I dressed in yoga shorts and a yoga bra. I slid in bed and turned out
the lights and fell asleep. But I was sucked into a dream. I was on a
beach in a bikini. A hot pink bikini. hey babe I heard a voice say
behind me. I spin around and see max. max I whisper. you look
hot he tells me. he walk over to me and grabs my waist. I push
him away. hey you belong to me and I will have you baby he
tells me. no I scream as he comes after me again.

Jason
so you work for I start to ask when I hear screaming coming
from upstairs making the house shake. I bolt up the stairs and find
misty screaming in her bed. I run to her side misty wake up I tell
her. her eyes fly open and she tries to punch me but Justin grans
her hand. its ok he tells her. she then starts crying. I hold her.

what happened? I ask. he came to me in my dreams she

whispered. max can visit people in their dreams. He cant do it if
they are sleeping with a boy Justin says looking at me. you want
me to sleep with her? I ask. He nods. I nod back. ok misty I am
going to sleep with you and he wont be able to get into your
dreams I tell her. she nods. And we walk to the bed. I lay in and I
pull her to me. she lays her head on my chest. She relaxes and falls
asleep.
About an hour later she starts freaking out. I shake her misty I
say. She opens her eyes. are you alright? I ask. She nods and
snuggles closer. She falls into a deep sleep.

When I woke up Jason was holding me. I smile but it disappears

when I remember last night. I jump up and look in the mirror. oh
well this is great I mutter. I see Jason walk behind me and puts
his arms around my waist. yep you went crazy last night he tells
me. did I hurt anyone? I ask. you scared almost everyone but I
dont think you hurt anyone he tells me. I need to find a way to

block max I tell myself. I then start to cry. what is happening to

me? I ask. Jasons grip on my waist tightens its ok Justin and I
are going to help you he tells me. I nod. He starts kissing my
neck.

I grab my guitar from under my bed and start singing. I then grab
my music book and write a song. I sigh and put it away. I start
playing the guitar and singing again. I then migrate into my
swinging chair and start singing and playing the guitar. I then put
my guitar away and lay back first on the bed and read a magazine.
I am so board. I then get up and look outside. It is raining. I shut
my curtains and lay back on my bed and stare at the ceiling. I then
grab my phone and text Jason. where are you? I ask. ernes he
texts back. oh ok I text him. what are you ok? he texts yea just
extremely board I text him. ok ill be back soon he says. love
you I text him. love you he texts back. I lay my phone on my bed
and sigh. I plug my headphones in and listen to my I-pod. I just lay
on my bed and blast my music and I dont hear from max.
Im laying on my bed listening to music and reading a magazine
when Jason comes in. I smile. He walks over to me and holds me. I
snuggle into him.
Later we go to sleep him holding me and my head on his chest.
