Petition summary
and background:

As of October 26, 2001, the day the Patriot Act came into effect in the
United States, Americans have been unlawfully and warrantlessly spied
upon by agencies including, but not limited to, the NSA and the FBI.
This has been increased, not resolved by not only the 3 branches of
national government but local police forces as well.

This affects all American citizens, from our family to our neighbors.
No laws that encourage the above belong in the United States.

We, the undersigned, urge our leaders in the State, County and City
governments to act now to stop Warrantless Surveillance by local
police departments , restore Constitutional Governance, and protect the
rights of the people.
