1.Putpaperintotheprinter.
2.Plugtheethernetcableintothebackoftheprinter(ensuretheotherendoftheethernet
cableisconnectedtotherouteroraswitchleadingtotherouter).
3.Turntheprinteron.Agreenlightshouldbevisibleonthefrontoftheprinter.
4.Turntheprinteroff.
5.Pressandholdthepaperfeedbuttonwhileturningtheprinterbackon.

SP700Abeepwillbeheardshortlyafterturningtheprinterbackonthenthe
printerheadwilladjustandasecondbeepwillbeheard.Oncethesecondbeep
hasbeenheard,releasethepaperfeedbutton.
TSP650Afterturningtheprinterbackon,areportwillprintoutreleasethe
paperfeedbuttonassoonasthisreportbeginstoprint.

Withbothprinters,tworeportswillprintout,thesecondreportwillhaveaheaderalongthe
linesofNetworkCardandatthebottomofthepapertherewillbeanIPAddress,Subnet
Mask,andDefaultGateway.Thefirstreportcanbediscarded.
6.Launchawebbrowseronacomputerconnectedtothesamenetworkastheprinter(s).
7.TypetheIPAddressfromthesecondreportfromtheprinterintotheaddressbarpress
enter.TheStarMicronicsNetworkUtilitywillload.
**Note:NotallIPAddressschemesarethesameentertheIPAddressfoundatthebottom
oftheNetworkCardreportfromtheStarprinter.
