Abstract

Don quixotes mMadness evolves through the novel and changes from the first to
the second part of their journey. I this essay The research essay will arguedemonstrate
how Don Quixotes insanity/ madness brings a change to his individual identity as the
novel progresses and how it affects his relationship with Sancho. The essay will also
demonstrate how Don Quixotes madness affects Ssanchos perception of him and their
journey, and how Sancho is able to learn and grow from observing Don Quixotes
madness as well as learning from the actions he takes throughout their journey. Don
Quixotes perception of reality allows him to discover his innermost individual identity
and helps Sancho grow as an individual identity as well, through his observations of
Quixote and their experiences together. Articles that describe the relationships between
Sancho and Don Quixote and the madness within Don quixotes world will help provide a
clearer understand of how Quixotes insanity effects Sanchos perspective and how it
helps both of them grow as individual characters.
