Answer There is a tool attached to this technote that will do the conversion and give you files to import, Attached are the initial and subsequent releases of the Alarm Migration Tool and related documentation, This tool migrates digital and analog alarms defined in the FactoryTalk® View SE Tag/Alarm CSV files. The resulting fle is an Excel file in XML spreadhseet format that can be imported into your FactoryTalk® Tag A&E server. This tool will not convert graphics and will not modify your application directly Instructions for Installation 1. Ifyou have a prior version of the tool installed, please remove it using Add/Remove Programs before installing a newer version 2. The XLS import file will be created successfully, but the import will fail with the below error.
