WORDS OF GRATITUDE

Today, on the occasion of Teachers Day,// I am

giving this speech on behalf of all the pupils of
Naga Central Elementary School
Teachers day is observed// to pay respect to the
teachers of our country in general and in City of
Naga in particular.// We also pay our respect to our
own teachers.// Teachers are regarded// as the
back bone of our society//
They have the
greatest contribution.// to build up the characters
of pupils// and help them to become ideal citizens
of our country.
The teachers teach pupils//
carefully and
sincerely and love them as their own children//
( bisan paman sa ka kiat namong mga bata).// We
owe them more than our parents.// (AYAW LANG
KASUKO PAPA UG MAMA HAH)// Our parents bring
us up and give us food and drink // for our
survival//
but teachers arouse our hearts with
light of knowledge//
and remove all sorts of
ignorance.
The teachers inspire us to proceed forward, //
to build our ethics and prepare us to withstand
obstacles of our life. // (Teacher makes lawyer,
Doctor, engineer, nurse, scientist ug daghan pa,,
ingun ana ka powerful ang trabaho sa maestra)
On this,, teachers are honored through various
functions // and these functions are celebrated at
every place throughout the country// and to the
whole world. The government in every country //
also pays respect to them by giving different
awards// On this day// we give them thanks and
honour them // by saying, we are grateful to you
