A firewall is a program/device that keeps destructive elements out of a network

or specific computer. Firewalls are arranged (in hardware, software, or both) with
specific criteria to block or prevent unauthorized access to certain
websites/inappropriate material.
Proxy server.
A computer that sits between a network and the internet meaning that the user
doesnt have a direct connection/access to the internet. Used to monitor and
manage internet access.
Both firewalls and proxy servers can be used to protect a network and filter
traffic by installing them and arranging rules. They filter through web traffic.
Video Conferencing.
Video conferencing means using computers to provide a video-link between two
or more people. Instead of just talking to someone by telephone, you are able to
see them as well.
