Alor Setar: On Saturday, 30th June, AiU Recreation and Tourism club organized a training

clinic of one ultimate sports which name is Ultimate Frisbee. Ultimate is a sport played with a
flying disc and it is an exciting, non-contact team sport, played by thousands the world over.
It mixes the best features of sports such as Soccer, Basketball, American Football and
Netball into an elegantly simple yet fascinating and demanding game.
The training was held at AiU field in AiU campus. The sport was followed by 40 persons (AiU
staffs and students).The activity was going on from 9.00 AM in the morning till 7.00 PM. In
the morning there was an introduction and theory about how to play Ultimate Frisbee game
by four persons of Frisbee trainers from USA. They showed practically to play that game in
AiU field.
In early evening, there was Ultimate mini-tournament. Students were enjoying that activity.
One of AiU students who involved in the game, Hamdun, 22 from Kenya said, it was great
sport, I thought this game would be boring, but after I played this, it is a prestigious game
ever, enjoyable, and it is real an ultimate game.
Each person who involved on that game got one of flying disc as souvenir, certificate, and
goody bag.
