Happy Australia Day! The BBQ will begin around 4.30pm. Parents are asked to bring picnic blankets, salads and drinks. Sausages and or burgers will be on sale.
Please note that alcoholic beverages will be allowed at this event and that the children are with their parents.
Thursday 29 January will be our Sports Day at Thu Thiem Campus for Junior Kindergarten to Year 3 students. It will be held at the AIS Thu Thiem Campus
field. The morning will be filled with a variety of fun games and activities for all participants. JK and SK students will participate in the early morning between 8:30
am and 10:00 am. Please make sure that your child brings a hat, a water bottle, snack and wears their PE uniform with a house t-shirt or a t-shirt in their house
colour on that day. Sunscreen will also be important as students will be in the sun on that day. We invite you to come out and join the fun!
February 2-6, will be our Parent Teacher Conferences. We will let you know of the schedules by Tuesday for you to choose the best time for you to come.
We will be making crafts and we need lots of empty toilet rolls and egg cartons. Please if you have them, kindly bring them to school. Thanks

Continue developing independence at the beginning and end of each day finding their names and hanging them up,
putting water bottle and diary folders in the correct place
Developing independence at lunchtime and taking responsibility for eating their lunch and packing it away.
Focus on being polite saying please, thank you, may I and remembering not interrupt when someone is speaking
Speaking and Listening: Be confident in talking during Show and Tell and be polite in listening when someone is talking

garden scene picture and find out some small creatures that begin with /g/ sound.

Graphing: We will be learning how to interpret data using pictograph. We will take the children for a walk along Lotus Road
to see what kind of insects we could find. We will then compare and find out how many children would have the same insects

This week we will continue to explore about small creatures that can be found in the garden with the focus on spiders and
bees. We will be inquiring how these creatures look like, what they do, how they survive and how are they important in our
environment. Children will be making crafts related to this topic.
