Dear Sir,
This is in reference to the polishing and painting work which was supposed to be
done in our house I.e in A- Block, B-6 , MS MP flats, BKS Marg, New Delhi that was
inspected by you on Saturday on along with AE and JE . You had assured to do all
the works related to seepage, polishing, white washing and painting etc. Workers
are coming and doing the work. But the problem is whenever the labourers are told
by us to do some touch up here and there, they bluntly refuse to do the same telling
that they have not been instructed by the contractor. This is a messy affair that we
take leave from our important office work and also spoil our holidays (Saturdays and
Sundays) just going on instructing them how to do the work or otherwise, frantically
trying to make contacts, either with JE, or, AE or Contractors telling them to instruct
the labourer to complete the work in a proper manner, and, everybody in the line
trying to confuse us. I think there is some systemic problem relating to proper
management of work delivery. I appreciate your co-operation and concern for the
betterment of the work delivery, but in spite of your best of intentions, the works do
not get delivered at the grass- root level. It appears that the contractors are getting
an upper hand and the works do not get properly supervised. This is a matter of
serious concern that need to be addressed.
