Congress led an investigation into the manufacturing operation.
Bacteria detected in raw materials located at the firms fort Washington
facility.
Customer complains.
Replacing the senior member of the quality control department by less
experienced employees.
Standards are not matched.
Reduced work force.
Following the merger with Pfizers consumer health care, mc neil moved
from pharmaceutical to consumer group.

3) What would be your plan of action now for addressing the situation
at Johnson & Johnson
Make website more active.
Increase the quality of the product.
Conduct a survey to know more about customer reaction about the
product and try to replace this product with effective one as soon as
possible.

4) What does it mean, as Weldon says, to be fully accountable?


Ans
When Weldon says, to be fully accountable it implies that he is accepting
that they are responsible for not maintaining high quality of standards
(e.g. bacteria free raw material, chemical which affected the medicine,
etc.) And as a result they are facing this recall situation. Customers do not
have access to their important products. Customer had to suffer from this
difficulties.
