    gw/sec_info = $(DIR_DATA)/secinfo
    gw/reg_info = $(DIR_DATA)/reginfo
    If one of the files has no entries or its syntax is incorrect, the gateway closes down !!!

    Above statement can be kept but needs to be phased out in time as this is giving the
