Course Description
This course will introduce you to accounting and business terms, philosophies, and problems
that will help you become financially successful no matter what your chosen field. Guest
speakers, accounting software, and field trips will give students an understanding of the area
of business. Even students not choosing to enter the business field will learn valuable
information to prepare them for managing their own finances and for a successful future.
This course is transcripted with Western Technical College. This means students will have an
opportunity to enroll in the course through Western and receive three college credits upon
completion with a C or better. Enrollment is optional but free to students.
