This is a very interesting novel, a
precise, of a womans jealousy love,
when after breaking up with her
boyfriend of the past six years, she
finds out that hes moving in with
another woman.
She described that a woman filled
her head, her chest. She was always
with her, she took control of her
emotions. At the same time, her

presence gave her life a new intensity. It released a kind of energy,

powers of imagination she didnt know she had; it held her in a state of
constant, feverish activity.
She was, in both senses of the word, possessed.
The narratorWhose voice is so clear, so telling, that its hard not to
believe that this book isnt based on experiences that Ernaux suffered
through.
