MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 023-2014

REDEFINING THE TERM GOODWILL PAYMENT AS THE ONE TIME AMOUNT
PAID BY THE AWARDEE-LESSEE FOR THE PRIVILEGE TO OCCUPY
STALL/SPACE IN THE PUBLIC MARKET OF GUINOBATAN, ALBAY, AND THE
PROCEEDS DERIVED THEREFROM SHALL BE ACCOUNTED FOR AS INCOME OF
THE SPECIAL ACCOUNT MARKET, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE SECTION 1
OF MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 01-2006.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE SANGGUNIANG BAYAN OF GUINOBATAN,

ALBAY IN SESSION ASSEMBLED, THAT:
SECTION 1. Amendatory Proviosion. Section 1 of Municipal Ordinance No. 012006 is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 1. That Section 4 Chapter 1 of Municipal Ordinance No. 08, S. of 1996,
as amended, is hereby further amended with the addition of another paragraph, to wit:
24. GOODWILL PAYMENT refers to the one time amount paid by the awardeelessee for the privilege to occupy stall/space in the public market of Guinobatan,
Albay, and the proceeds derived therefrom shall be accounted for as income of
the Special Account Market.
SECTION 2. Repealing Clause. Section 2 of Municipal Ordinance No. 01-2006
is hereby repealed and other provisions of ordinances, rules and regulations found
inconsistent with the provision of this ordinance are hereby modified accordingly.
SECTION 3. Effectivity. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
approval.
