    Fromthiswerealizedouropeningdoesnthavetostartofasa
    slowandbeginningwhichwouldthendevelopintosomething
    gruesome.Wewereabletoincludeagorykillingatthestart,as
    thatwouldsurelyluretheaudience.Gorydeathsandbloodis
    normalforourgenre.Thisideawasbasedoftheoriginal
    Halloweenasinthebeginningwewitnessedthemaincharacter
    MichaelMyerswhobrutallykillshissisterintheopening.Our
    sceneincludedanisolatedalleyway,lowkeylighting,aknife
    (usuallyastabbingdeathasitinflictsaslowandpainfuldeath)
    andtheclichvendettamaskthroughoutourproductionto

    createatenseandeeriemood.Thisisausualoccurrencein
    mostslashermovies,astheytendtocreatedisturbingor
    unnervingscenesinwhichtheaudiencewouldeitherbeginto
    feeledgyorparanoid.Weusedateenagerbecauseteensmostly
    occurinslasherfilms.Yougetthepromiscuousgirlwhois
    normallykilledfirst.Thenyouhavetoinnocentonewhois
    killednext.Thenyouhavethesmartonewhogetsoutbutsome
    howendsupbackinthekillershands.
