WINGET PARK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL UNIFORM GUIDELINES Beginning in August 2006 Winget Park Elementary School students will be wearing uniforms to school. Guidelines for the school uniform are set forth below: Approved Clothing Articles: Shirts Type Color Polo (long or short Sleeve) Solid White/Navy/Green Oxford cloth shirt (long or short sleeve) Solid White/Navy/Green Turtleneck Solid White/Navy/Green Peter Pan collar blouse Solid White/Navy/Green (for girls, long or short sleeve) Pants/Slacks/Shorts Type Color Slacks Solid Navy/Khaki Pants Solid Navy/Khaki Shorts (“fingertip” rule) Solid Navy/Khaki Skirts/SKorts/Jumpers (“fingertip” rule) Type Color Skirt (pleated or unpleated) Solid Navy/Khaki Skort (pleated or unpleated) Solid Navy/Khaki Jumper (various styles; no suspender or spaghetti strap styles) Solid Navy/Khaki ‘Sweaters/Sweatshirts Uniform guidelines apply to these if they will be worn all day. (ifa sweatshirt docs not meet uniform guidelines, it eannot be worn in the classroom.) Type Color Cardigan sweater (crew neck, button-up or pull-over) Solid Navy/White/Green Sweatshirt (pull-over or zippered, with or without hood) Solid Navy/White/GreenAccessories Socks or tights should be solid navy blue or white. Shoes should be non slip-on, closed- toed, Important Rules to Remember 1, Shirts are to be tucked in at all times, 2. Clothing must be clean. Articles NOT to be worn to school: Untucked shirts T-shirts Shirts without collars Sleeveless shirts Brand-names ot other logos on shirts (other than Winget Park Elementary School) ‘Sweat pants or warm up pants Blue jeans or clothing made of denim Gym shorts Baggy pant or shorts, Overalls Articles that may be worn to school: Corduroy pants or jumpers Plain white undershirts (worn under a polo or oxford shirt) Winget Park T-shirts Belts ‘Cargo pants and/or cargo shorts
