EXAMEN
On

average the exam takes 3-6 months to study for. Depending on your
background and time each week you are able to put towardsstudy will
determine the length of time it will take you. We do findthat individuals are
most successful at passing the exam whentaken in that 3-6 month time
frame. Overall our pass rate is about70%.
What if I feel I am not ready in 6 months to take the exam? How often can the t
ests be taken? you just have to schedule the exam by 6 months. you can
select a date past that.
The exam is offered as a computer based test in the United States.International
ly the exam is a paper/ pencil test. I have included alink on exam registration
information and locating an exam nearyou either internationally or in the U.S
. (you will have to selectinternational if looking for abroad exams). If an exa

CERTIFICACION
Our

certifications are good for a two-year period of time.

To renew your certification you would need to earn 2.0 continuing education
credits (CECs) which accounts for 20 hours of continuing education every
two year.
You are also required to hold a current CPR/ AED certification
Pay a renewal fee of $129 on-time (bi annual).
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must hold a current, government-issued photo I.D.
Must hold a CPR/AED certification at time of registration that willstill be valid on
exam date
Must register at least 10 days prior to exam. International is 21 days.
