DC GENERATOR
OBJECTIVES

To design and construct a working direct Current generator

The generator should have 4 poles, 6 slots that will generate atleast 3 volts
The generator must carry atleast 1 LED as load

I.

ABSTRACT
This prototype is a DC generator with 4 poles and 6 slots that is expected
to produce a minimum output voltage of 3 volts. The group will use a
neodymium magnets as our generator's stator since this is the strongest
permanent magnet ever made. Also we consider the fact that the greater
magnetic intensity, greater the chance to produce a high voltage. In this DC
generator, we will use driller that will be connected to the shaft that is
responsible for the rotation of the rotor. Through the brushes, we will measure
the output voltage and we plan to connect an LED as load.
