1. The competition is divided into two categories with different piece for each:
A. Grade 7 and Grade 8 The Bells Edgar Allan Poe.
B. Grade 9 and Fourth Year Level Like the Molave
2. There will be single piece for each category.
3. Each group must be composed of 25-45 members including the props men.
4. There will be no HIRING OF CHOREOGRAPHERS prior to elimination and
contest proper.
5. Any musical accompaniment such as audio players, CD, mp3, audio visual
effects (the use of projectors) and the like are strictly prohibited.
6. The use of authentic sound effects is the only advisable musical backgrounds,
such as stamps, drums, bottles, and shouts.
7. There will be three groups for each level who will qualify for the final round.
- Number of groups may change depending on the judge/judges
8. Protest shall be entertained before the contest proper.
9. Proofs are the foremost requirement to accommodate the protest. There will
be protest fee which cost of FIVE HUNDRED PESOS for any protest proposal.
10.A minimum of 8 minutes and maximum of 10 minute presentation. Any form
of movements and sounds when the participants are on stage the time of
performance starts.
11.Originality of execution is highly imposed, imitation from internet sites and
video sites are greatly discouraged.
12.Practices shall be supervised by any of the teachers if practices are being
held in school premises. Letter of permission shall be presented signed by the
adviser and principal thereof.
13.The use of any harmful materials such as knife, fires and fire crackers are
highly prohibited.
14.Participants must come 10 minutes before the performance, late comers will
be automatically declared disqualify. But, the disqualified group will be given
a chance to perform for intermission number only.
15.Any violation of the aforementioned is subject for disqualification.
16. Any rule listed above may be repealed or amended through the agreement
of organizers and contest officials.
