Welcome Back!
Dear Parents and Guardians,
With this letter, I would like to introduce myself as your childs mathematics
teacher for the 2013-2014 school year. This year will be an exciting one for my students
and me. We will be continuing our study of various topics in problem solving, including
algebra, probability, statistics and geometry. I have planned many activities that I hope
will encourage my students to succeed.
I would like to welcome you to the OBHS Open House on Thursday,
September 19, 2013 at 7 pm. I am looking forward to meeting you and showing you
our texts and classroom. Please attend if you have the opportunity to do so.
Please read over the attached Course Expectations Letter with your child. Make
sure to detach, fill out and sign the Parent Signature Form and have your child return it to
class by Monday, September 9. If you have any questions, or if any problems arise,
