May 2014-Current, Assistant Part-Time Teacher in the 1 year-old classroom
United Day Care Center
. It is my responsibility to help the children transition from nap to
afternoon snack. This involved keeping the children on their beds until they
are called to get their diapers changed by the other teacher. Then after they
are changed, I give each child their snack and put their cot away. After all the
children are done eating, I clean the tables and floors. It is also my
responsibility to do after noon diaper checks, as well as planning and
implementing an activity until it is time for the children to leave.

I was responsible for running the cash register, mostly in the drive-thru. This
helped me to learn great people skills.
