MYSORE PAK IS A FAMOUS SOUTH INDIAN SWEET. IT IS VERY EASY TO PREPARE.
INGREDIENTS: GROUNDNUT FLOUR, SUGAR AND GHEE. ALL THE THREE IN EQUAL PARTS [ie: IF YOU USE 1 CUP OF FLOUR USE 1CUP OF SUGAR AND 1 CUP OF GHEE. ADD WATER TO THE FLOUR AND MAKE THE FLOUR A THICK PASTE. ADD SOME WATER TO SUGAR AND BOIL IN A BROAD VESSEL. WHEN THE SUGAR BECOMES A THICK SYRUP, ADD THE PASTE OF GROUNDNUT FLOUR AND STIR WELL. ALLOW IT TO BOIL UNTIL IT BECOMES THICK, AND THEN ADD GHEE AND STIR WELL. POUR THE MIXTURE IN A TRAY. THE TRAY MUST BE ALREADY COATED WITH GHEE SO THAT THE MIXTURE WONT STICK TO THE BOTTOM OF THE TRAY. ALLOW IT TO COOL A WHILE. THEN USE A KNIFE AND CUT INTO PIECES.
