At the end of this course, students should be able to:
Produce an acceptable project proposal
Obtain information and data from related
literatures
Evaluate the relevance and quality of literature
obtained.
Identify various implementation strategies.
Propose appropriate methodology
(experiment, design, modeling)
Produce report of the project and present orally.

Introduction
FYP Project
6 credit hours
2 semesters project
It is an individual Project

Working under guidance of supervisor(s)

Objective
Objective of FYP
The objective of the project is to develop a framework, which

applying knowledge,
expanding thoughts,
solving problems independently and
presenting findings through minimum guidance and
supervision.

Scope of work
The scope of the work can be
Laboratory experiments
Modeling / Simulations /
Plant project

Students are to explore

research/design problems,
build research/design objectives,
apply appropriate methodology,
analyse and/or produce the outcomes and report the
findings.

The project work must exhibit element of originality,

which indicates the maturity level for the final year
bachelor degree programme.
