What do you think is the biggest impact of Dr. Seuss literature in modern day? What
aspect of his writing style do you think was the leading force for teaching children
how to read? Do you think Dr. Seuss writing style lead to a new way children learned
to read? Why? What was so different from prior methods?
I was raised on "see Dick run, run Dick run "book's, rather dull stuff. Then Dr. Seuss came
along with his wit and whimsy, his rhyme's, his made up word's, his Seussian beings. He
made learning to read fun.

How do you think Dr. Seuss legacy has influenced society today?
He is not simply a children's author, his books seem to touch all of us, that's the magic of
Seuss and why he is a beloved figure in our culture and the world over.

Also, what is your favorite message or moral from any of Dr. Seuss books?
Two of my favorite Seussian messages are: A person's a person no matter how small and
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better it's not.
