Physiotherapy Assistant position at Reliance Rehab Associate Inc. I was immediately
drawn to this job opportunity, as I thoroughly love working with seniors and my work
experience with the geriatric population has provided me with well-rounded skills to
provide the best quality of care for future patients.
I am currently completing the Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist Assistant
Diploma program at Red Deer College and expecting to graduate in April 2015. I am a
very reliable and team-oriented person who is eager to offer my skills and positive work
ethic to your facility. Throughout my program I maintained a 3.95 GPA but my
experience extends beyond my education, I am a disciplined and reliable worker with
over three years experience working with geriatrics. Throughout my clinical experience
at a long-term care facility as a rehabilitation assistant, I gained enormous amount of
hands on experience with individuals that had varying levels of function. Furthermore,
my experiences volunteering for a variety of long-term care facilities have enhanced my
interpersonal skills and ability to quickly build good rapport with patients. I am confident
my skills in range of motion, ambulation exercises, group facilitation, cognitive
stimulation and wheelchair equipment would be an asset to your facility.
